My local dealer has 102 CX-5's on the lot. ONE SINGLE Diesel (white). They're showing a $1700 discount off MSRP on their web site, before negotiations. Pretty much the same discount for all other CX-5 versions shown on the site. I'm guessing the dealerships are passively resisting...

Not disputing it, but why????? Most Asian car companies are developing US factories, presumably because the financial advantage of building in Asia has mostly disappeared. Musk seems to be bucking the trend. Now if he were building just a battery factory there, I'd better understand it.

For my taste, the Bose system is perfectly adequate. After all, in a moving vehicle there's so much background and road noise that ultimate sound quality is somewhat irrelevant.

I find that Sport Mode is only effective to use when driving on an open road in a spirited manner. In traffic, it struggles to shift at appropriate RPM's and just feels awkward to use.... Get it on a wide open twisty road and it can be kinda fun.

This is one area where actually reading the fine print of the contract up front, is CRITICAL. Do not pay a nickel until you fully understand what is covered and what is excluded. It can save a lot of pain and suffering later on..........

150,000 miles for today's vehicles should be pretty much trouble free, assuming regular maintenance. An Extended Warranty that covers anything less than 200k - 250k miles, IMHO is a waste of money. Especially for a quality vehicle.......... It's not like we're talking FCA here.

RIGHT! Someone who lives near a dealership with Diesel inventory needs to test drive one and report back, with an objective review. On the surface, 168hp and 290ft/lbs seems anemic, compared to the 2.5T models, given the included price premium. Even the fuel efficiency doesn't excite me...

2019 GTR - I get 27.0 - 27.5 for most every tankful. My daily commute is 90% highway. About half at 75-80 and half with mixed traffic.

Take it to the dealer and ask them to check the calibration of the auto wipers sensor. You should not be having this problem. Mine work fine........
