Don't believe anything the dealer tells you when it comes to items they charge you for. Your GTR has an oil change interval indicator. Also, the owners manual is quite specific regarding oil change intervals. Read up!

That's exactly what I'm saying. As I stated originally, mine is a "seat of the pants" comparison. My perception is that there is a RESPONSIVENESS advantage that 93 offers. HOWEVER that difference doesn't come close to outweighing the cost premium of 93. I'm permanently on 87 going forward.

I don't know about that........ Driving around, I cannot believe the number of high-end luxury vehicles and huge SUV's on the road. Not to mention all those $50k+ full size pickups. Must be an awful lot of "Lords" out there!

The manual does not specify syn, so I'm under the assumption that it doesn't matter. I do use full syn in all my vehicles, simply because it makes me feel better.
