IMO, an early first oil change is cheap insurance. It's probably a waste of $$$$, but to me, the comfort factor is worth the cost. When I purchase a brand new car, I do the first OC at 1,000mi. From there on, I follow the owners manual.

The Mazda interface is terrible, but with CarPlay, I could care less. 99% of my travels are with CarPlay active. Waze and iHeart Radio. Would a bigger screen be nicer? Sure, but I'll survive. ;-)

Maybe the answer is as simple as making headlights 100% automatic with: DRL during daylight hours (car engine running). When darkness approaches or when the wipers are on, all lights come on (engine running).

If you step on the gas pedal, it will override the CC. I use my smart CC every day on my commute and have had zero issues, regardless of the traffic situation.

It IS the indicator in my 2019 GTR.

YES, there is an indicator light on the dash that lights up when your lights are all on.
