I advise you to do what I did. Look online for a replacement. I found a screen on ebay, bought it, installed it myself and everything works like new. And a lot cheaper than dealer price, of course.

I am confused. You posted a screenshot from an android phone with all sorts of engine/car parameters. I assumed that the screenshot is from your phone. That's what I am talking about.

Make sure you have a spark plug socket, don't try to use regular socket. Start tightening with bare hands until you cannot turn it by hand anymore, then use the ratchet. I've seen people here talking about torque values for the spark plugs. I used "gut and tight" torque. 😆 So far no issue.

I believe that the first generation Mazda CX-5 does not support Car Play or Android Auto with the native infotainment system. I am afraid that your only choice is to install an aftermarket head unit or a retrofit. Here's a YouTube video showcasing a possible solution for your problem...

Yes. What you see in the picture, that’s how it came off. You can also see the double side tape on the bottom left corner.

Since replacing spark plugs at 20 K generated so many smiles, I will replace them again at 10k, only to see everybody laughing out loud! 🤣

Never done any carbon cleaning, did a throttle body cleaning and that’s it, simple stuff. I was thinking about doing a walnut blasting, contacted a local shop for a quote but never got a response. I guess they deal only with high end cars and cx-5 is beneath them.
