Most likely the road was curving. It happened to me too. So what I do is this, two options: option 1: disengage the radar and pass the car, reengage radar after passing; option 2: without disengaging the radar, simply press the acceleration and pass the car.

I would go with Safelite or any other windscreen replacement shop. Mazda dealer normally outsources this work and you'll end up paying more than Safelite. If you have a rain sensor on the windscreen, make sure you save the gel pad or get a new one, it may get damaged when removing the broken...

I think there is no option in settings to "activate" the navigation card. You insert it in its slot and that's it. After driving around a certain amount of miles/kilometres the card pairs with the car, memorizes the VIN number and you can't use the card in a different car. Now, I haven't tried...

Yes you can. Remove the DRL relay from the relay box and turn the light stalk to the parking position. When low beam is needed, just simply turn the stalk to the low beam position. This has been previously discussed.
