Finally got my manifold installed. Here is a pic since you don't see many of them on here of the Thunder manifold. I ported it out nicely to match up with the new gasket and than had the guys at Turn In Concepts install it. Replaced the el cheapo couplers that came with original hard pipes too...

WOW. I had the same bolt missing on mine. It just worked its way out. never broke off. I replaced it with a 8.8 from the local shop.

I removed the heat shield under were the shifter sits between the exhaust and the shifter. No more rattle for me.

WGA is fine I just put a new one on a couple weeks back. I check new one and it was fine. Pipes are all kosher thought the silicon couplers on my hard pipes are el-cheapo's. I found a few cracks on the manifold and it appears to be warped almost. I tightened a couple bolts up around it but...

yah. I really think its this exhaust manifold, I hear a leak coming from it, or the general area on the front side of the engine closest to the passenger side. Now i just have to find a manifold. I can't really afford a steedspeed at $7xx dollars and I think i missed the thunder group buy...

Thanks. I will check that. Its either that or my manifold which has a crack. when the car idles you can hear some air escaping from near the manifold on the far most passenger side of the exhaust manifold. When under boost it sounds like steam escaping a cracked pipe and the car bucks a bit...

Where is the wastegate flapper located on our turbos? Also is there some way to check if its stuck open or closed without removing the turbo?

I took the one off that was between my exhaust pipe and shifter. My TWM shifter would rattle against the heat shield all the time. i have had no issues since removing it a couple years ago.

I got the new WG on , had a issue with the clip but it wasn't getting a new one on it was getting the right size. so i took 1 size bigger, the closest size they had at autozone, and squezed the end together some and got it on, though slightly loose. Car boosts again :) but... i still hear air...

did you have anything removed from under the car? The only thing i removed was the Hot pipe off the turbo, I never messed with removing the J pipe or anthing like that. I will try again with the long extention. I only had the 3" extention hooked up.

I got my the clip off and the front nut but the rear nut isn't moving. i tried a ratchet with the knuckle attachment and a box wrench. neither give me clearance to rotate the nut. I am about to bust out my dremel tool and just grind it off... any suggestions on tool or angle to approach this...

well wga is fine. back to the drawing board. my BPV threading on the side the hose from the hot pipe goes to was loose so i tightened it. i hope that fixes it.
