Having the right tune for the car makes all the difference in reference to what Thomas is saying. My accellerator pedal hits a brick wall once I reach 3500rpm (where I would go WOT with the big turbo), and you actually have to try to get into boost at that point. Ecu controlled DBW FTW

Well, if Mazda doesn't bring over or do something slightly performance related that isn't a miata, I won't be buying anymore mazdas. If the focus RS lives up to its hype and really does make it stateside, I'll likely be getting a lightly used one down the road.

Final result. Very pleased with the power, and maybe I'll push it further once I get a 2nd car and more fuel (meth or 6th port)..

One of my friends who is in the Navy had his Audi S4 transported from San Diego to back home here in NE OH over the summer while he's deployed in Japan so his dad could keep and eye on it and drive it around every once in a while. They did a great job (washed and waxed it, then covered it...

Another update, since things are moving quickly now that all my hardware is fixed: I haven't had a 93 octane tune for this turbo due to the fact that one bad tank of gas + detonation = zoom zoom boom. So we've been tuning a 3 gallon mix of e85. We'll be stepping down to a 2 gallon mix on the...

Moar Update: Borrowed Jake's EWG and that solved the crazy overboost issue. Got my replacement Diaphragm and Valve assembly from PTE yesterday, and will be rebuilding it tonight after class. Also now that the EWG thats on the car is working, got a new map from Realgib3; yesterday and took...

Revision 4 of the tune as of last night. 20.5psi and 13.5 degrees of timing at 7krpm. Car feels strong as hell. Once mark dials in the fueling and timing, I'll have him whip up a low boost 93 octane tune for when I travel away from e85 stations. Otherwise, 3/9 ethanol/93 mix will always be...

17.6 isn't that bad, Peaches ... Lol I've been getting 250 miles a tank for the past 8 months. Text him, I've probably been slowing down the process with all the s*** he's had to tinker with on my car lol.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! Update time: This setup flows incredibly well. So well in fact; that on a 9psi wastegate spring, and 0% Wastegate Duty Cycle, I can hit 24psi. So standard hybrid tuning is out the window, and Mark is going to have to control boost with the throttle plate. I...
