phones can position without GPS, using cell towers proximity, wifi spots and other means. So hiding your phone doesn't always mean it lost its location.
another Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 user here. I had no problem with A36 to be honest. Hydroplaned once on wet snow, but don't believe it was tires to blame. Switched anyway, Pirelli seemed to be more loud and flaky at first but I either got used or it was kind of a brake-in, now they seem silent.
I user carplay. I know there is a built-in navigation that puts directions on the HUD. But it's a disgrace from the usability perspective compared to Google or Apple maps. The one I had in '16 CX5 was actually better than the current one
Lack of turn by turn on HUD is the biggest and probably the only issue that makes me sad. Is there really no way to enable that? I think I'd even invest in a head unit replacement if that was an option.
Another thing - I've been using premium gas only the whole 5k since the last oil change, and pushed the pedal harder. Decided to take it to the max and see if that triggers the alert, and there you go
I didn't check the oil level, just dropped it off at the dealer.
And that's correct, there was nothing on the dash.
Oil level is not constant and changes with temperature, car position etc. My guess is that at one point it was low enough for the sensor to trigger sending the alert and possibly...
finally it happened, low oil warning in MyMazda app
last oil change at 15k, now it's at 20k
interestingly didn't notice anything on the dash, if there was no phone app I wouldn't know it happened
will go to the dealer on Tue
What are you guys looking to get in this update? It claims to fix reboots, but I haven't noticed any changed since I installed it. (I lost the downloaded file though)
Same card in the mail
Same low usage with no light
I change oil once in 5k, the card says 7.5k, makes me wonder if I should switch to 7.5k and see what happens
Will let others correct me, but I believe that when you do 0-60 the "kickdown" thing gets engaged, making it irrelevant whether Sport Mode is on or off
So saying that "Sport Mode" is useless makes no sense, it just serves a different purpose.
If you are referring to this as pig-nose I totally agree, it's bad:
but this one is really good, fresh and innovative, would love to see 5 and 3 follow. Just IMHO.
That's another reason I'm not excited about the current X3.
Being a design-conscious person I humbly hoped that the '25 X3 would follow the 7 series pattern, which is actually the coolest thing and brings back the time when BMW was not the follower but the leader.
Unfortunately from what I can...
