    Anyone replace their 2022/2023 CX-9 Speakers (non-Bose)?

Oh, interesting. What would you say would be the price point to purchase all of the equipment, cables, speakers to improve the overall sound quality of the vehicle (Around $1,000-$2,000)? I am not sure if I would get a sub unless I can hide it somewhere like under the seat or on the spare tire...

Got rid of my CX-50 Turbo Premium (long post)

Hey guys, it's been fun and I wanted to say that I really thought I would love the CX-50 and I just don't think it was a good fit for me. There are just some things a test drive won't be able to uncover until owning a vehicle long term and I ultimately traded the CX-50 Turbo Premium in for a...

    CX-50 TSB?

I hear you on these build quality issues. I owned a CX-50 Turbo Premium and I took the loss and traded it in for a 2023 CX-9 Touring. Build quality so far is night and day difference quite honestly. If you're already having so many issues, I am not sure that it would get better over time. I've...

    Anyone replace their 2022/2023 CX-9 Speakers (non-Bose)?

Good recommendations, I will definitely keep that mind when I plan this out in the future. You are 100% on point, the speakers are abysmal to the point I feel the need to constantly change tracks lol. I'll probably do tweeters once the car warranty expires.

    Anyone replace their 2022/2023 CX-9 Speakers (non-Bose)?

Thanks for the recommendation! I've used Crutchfield before for the CX-5 and debated to get an amp but ultimately decided not to as it was a lot of work running the cables through everything but I may consider that in the future. I came from the CX-50 Turbo Premium with the Bose speakers and it...

    Anyone replace their 2022/2023 CX-9 Speakers (non-Bose)?

Has anyone replaced their CX-9 speakers. If so, I just had a few questions: Can anyone comment on the process and if this was a simple plug and play? Which speaker brand/model did you go for? How much of an upgrade was it over the stock speakers? Did you need any adapters for the front/rear...

2023 CX-9 same specs as the 2022? WeatherTech Mats

Thanks for letting us know. Just had a few questions: How would you compare the material of the Husky cargo liners vs the Weather Techs? Do you think the Husky liner is slippery or is there a textured finish to it?

2023 CX-9 same specs as the 2022? WeatherTech Mats

Just an update, I received my Smart Liners from Amazon and it included the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rows for the floor mats. I am not that impressed by the quality of these floor mats. I've owned 3D Maxpider and WeatherTechs and I can safely say that the WeatherTech floor mats have a much better build...

2023 CX-9 same specs as the 2022? WeatherTech Mats

Hey guys, I picked up my 2023 CX-9 Touring today with captain chairs (6 chairs total) and without the center console. Out of curiosity, has anyone purchased the Husky floor mats for their 2023? I'm taking a look at Tuxmat and they only make floor liners for the 7 seat version which is basically...

DIY Engine oil change and Manufacturer Warranty

There's also the Stahlbus as well but I recall it requires the tube to be inserted to unlock the mechanism and have the oil flow downwards and once that process takes place, there's no way to stop it. Read about it a few years ago but Fumoto is definitely more well known. Some of the issues...

DIY Engine oil change and Manufacturer Warranty

I usually go super early in the AM on a weekday/weekend when the dealer opens and I'm usually in and out around 45 minutes - 1 hour since no one is usually there. The drive for me is about 10 or 22 minutes one way depending on which dealership I go to and while I'm there, I'll do some work on a...

DIY Engine oil change and Manufacturer Warranty

There's always a risk associated with everything and that's why I mentioned risk tolerance level as we all can choose what we do with the vehicle, whether we have it serviced at the dealership or if we go through the DIY route. I see having the dealership performing the oil changes at their...

DIY Engine oil change and Manufacturer Warranty

I guess it really depends on what your risk tolerance is as most dealerships will typically try to deny warranty work as much as possible. It's definitely much more expensive at around $80 per oil change at the dealer versus DIY which is around $40, especially if you are purchasing the engine...

    2023 Mazda CX-50 Headliner Leak

It's been a while but I don't recall how the CX-50 Premium Plus feel anymore but my last vivid memory of driving the vehicle was that it wasn't as stiff over bumpy roads and I think it could be the way that the suspension is tuned. You could probably do a test drive if you have a dealership near...

    CX-50 Service Manuals/Schematics?

I was thinking about this same topic for the past few weeks. Usually, people on eBay will sell the service manual for $10-20 but I think this car is too new so there's nothing out yet. It might take another few months for something to get released.

CX-50 Creaking noise over bumps on top of driver side door/headliner?

I have the Turbo Premium and my quotes were from 1-3 weeks ago. The latest one I got was from CarMax and it is definitely way lower than I was anticipating as well. You could try doing a private sale to get the most out of the vehicle but at this rate, it's probably not going to do too much. For...

CX-50 Creaking noise over bumps on top of driver side door/headliner?

Sorry to hear that the CX-50 hasn't been working out for you but you definitely made the right choice if you're not happy with it. You do have a good point about the CX-50 not being so hot on the market as I am on the same boat as you. I'm wondering if I should keep the car or trade it in but...

CX-50 Creaking noise over bumps on top of driver side door/headliner?

It seems like the source of the noise may be coming from the B-Pillar. The driver side B-Pillar is much noisier than the passenger side B-Pillar if I use my fingers/palms and press against the weather strip portion to sandwich the two components together. I recorded a video to give you a better...

CX-50 Creaking noise over bumps on top of driver side door/headliner?

I would have to agree with first year assembly issues on this. I've actually taken the car to the dealership about 3 times now and got a service rental for 3/3 of those times but they cannot reproduce the issue. The first for the headliner water pooling and twice for the brake pedal clicking...

CX-50 Creaking noise over bumps on top of driver side door/headliner?

Hey guys, I have another issue with this vehicle so far and this is about the third or fourth one in less than 4 months of ownership. I have about 4,200 miles on the car so far and the creaking noise came about around 100-200 miles back and it appears whenever the car goes over very specific...
