More and more riders here in the NE are switching to 29ers. They don't feel as "snappy" as a 26", but handle technical terrain much better. I ride a Niner One Nine and Air Nine. I had a Salsa Dos Niner for almost 2 years and got a lot of good race results on it, but it cracked at the non drive...

Wheels sold!!!! Thanks to everyone for their interest. I sold them to the first guy to respond, and he drove 300 miles to get them! Great to meet you Luke and good luck with the racing. If there was trader feedback I would give you an excellent rating.

Mountain bike racing and road riding, 220 average bowler, fishing, hiking, poker, used to be a good roller hockey player but got hurt too much, and beer drinking.
Shifting: I have trouble with my 1-2 shift when the car is cold, so I just double clutch until it's warmed up. I have one of the E-4 knobs on my shifter, it's really heavy and makes shift effort much easier. Next mod will be a short shift plate.
Clutch: every car is different and takes a bit of...
