    Flexible Oil Change Duration Change

Actually the mileage flexible OCI makes more sense then a %. A mileage setting is easy to go by, its been used forever to determine oil changes. The logic may still use a % in the code but they present it with a mileage amount to the driver. What % would a user determine a change is required? I...

    Extended Warranty - Turbo?

How much and how long does the extended Warranty run? A big factor would be how long you normally keep a car, if you dont expect to own it beyond 5 years then an extended warranty may not prove its worth. Mazdas 5yr/60k mile powertrain warranty should take care of the big stuff for awhile.

    2017 Wipers

Is the question due to limited wiper options for the 2nd Gen? Napa makes a set that clip right on to 2nd Gen (same oem connector)

    2017 CX-5 GT wipers suck

Just purchased a set for wifes 2018 CX5, oem blades were starting to separate at the ends. These are a few notes with literally 2 mins of install and a few test wipes of the windshield. Pro: easy attachment with correct fitting Different Wiper if you dislike oem. Cons: more expensive cost...

What did you pay for your CX-5?

Personally I'm not convinced there will be significant savings. This is not the credit crunch downturn 2008-2010 was, the economy will rebound much quicker. If Mazda is offering a few months of no payments that likely will be as good as it gets.

    Car and Driver

A 2019 CX5 GT (NA) went up against the all new Ford Escape and beat it out in a recent C&D 1 vs 1 comparison as well. They compared mid-trim models. Also of note they got a fairly decent 0-60 time out of the NA with the sprint doing 7.9 seconds to 60. One of the faster times listed for the 2nd...

Any way to stop contacts loading?

I turned it off the auto download contacts last week. In the few times I've driven since then it seems slightly quicker to boot and load up.....or just imagining it. As previously said, one less thing to bog the startup can only help.

“Oil service required” Light malfunction on ‘19 Signature

Probably a good idea to use Trip B odometer setting as a "backup" OCI. I always reset Trip B myself when changing oil. I like knowing the gas mileage I'm getting after a change and long term. If the system reset spontaneously I'd just check the. trip B and set a FIXED OCI on Mazda Connect for...

“Oil service required” Light malfunction on ‘19 Signature

I agree, there is only 1 place to reset/update either a Fixed/Flexible OCI. It is only done through the Mazda Connect system. My 2019 GT is this way, also my wifes 2018 Touring....same thing.

“Oil service required” Light malfunction on ‘19 Signature

I changed oil on my 2019 yesterday, reset the oil change notification to Flexible on Mazda Connect.....remaining oil life indicated 7500 miles. On the center guage it shows service due in 12xx miles. Reason is my tire rotation is still counting down and not reset yet. Could the dealer have...

“Oil service required” Light malfunction on ‘19 Signature

Its highly recommended to replace oil (even with lower mileage use) at 12 months. Not surprised the flexible OCI would want a change done. I'll be changing the oil out on my 2019 tomorrow, debating if I'll use the flexible or set a fixed 5k. Monumental decision upcoming! Lol

“Oil service required” Light malfunction on ‘19 Signature

Also interested in knowing you you use Flexible or Fixed OCI. Personally I use fixed 5k changes on my 2019 and my wifes 2018 CX5's.

    March sales, no surprise

Dealers holding out, loans are cheap these days and the economy could swing back once things open up again. The last downturn took years to recover from, this one would be a blip in comparison.

    March sales, no surprise

Sucks for Mazda, they were on pace for a great year of sales. Does anyone know if Mazda is considered "Too big to fail" in Japan? Does Japan bailout their car manufacturers?

    2017~2025 Video From autoexpert.com.au about 2020 Mazda CX5

Information, I'd glance at it if my 2019 had the screen. Merely to see what speed/load it engage at. Other then curiosity it wouldnt get much use after.

Sirius XM issues on a 2019 CX-5 GT

I still have XM load failures even on newest version of Mazda Connect. Has happened twice now after a quick run to the grocery store both times (car was off for less then 30 mins). Upon starting it up to drive home XM is not working. Every time I've had the XM issue is when the car was driven...

Winter is here and my CX-5 Turbo is now a 2.0L!

I will say the seats in my wifes 2018 CX5 Touring are softer and more comfortable in some ways then my 2019 GT full leather seats.

Poll Did you choose the CX-5 over a German SUV?

I've had great success with chosing Mazda's in recent years. Owned a 2013 Miata PRHT for 6 years, a 2016 Mazda 6 for 2 years, wife has a 2018 CX5 and I just replaced a Jeep Renegade with my own 2019 CX5. Personally I love Mazda for the way they drive and RELIABILITY (0 issues with all Mazdas Ive...
