Sales of CX-5 vs CX-50 in US

Agree with others, not sure what to make of those videos. And in reality, the CX-30 and CX-5 are two very different vehicles with different weight balances and such. Saying the difference in behavior during these tests is due to one thing is not logical - actually it is illogical.

    CX-90 Reviews are out

Yeah, they did that stupid comparison between the CX90 and the X-5 and GLE, which are both really two row SUVs. Personally I can't believe how much faith people put in these "influencers".

    CX-90 Reviews are out

Car and driver is all over the place. Supposedly, in their newest magazine (Apple News+) , they do a 5-car comparison against the usual competitors and the CX-90 wins.

    CX-70 delayed to next year

When I drove the 280 hp car versus the 340 hp car, I felt no difference. Same with the PHEV. Zero difference in power. I personally think they should scrap the 280 and just have the 340 HP car that gets 319 with regular gas and 340 with premium gas.

CX-90 (when to buy) after the Hype

Honestly, if you like the drive of the RX300, Mazda is not your company. Polar opposites.

CX-90 (when to buy) after the Hype

The CX-90 is bigger, faster and more fuel efficient - by substantial margins - than your 2017 rx350. And the 2017 rx350 is, honestly a terrible driving car that nobody who likes driving should buy. If you don't like the Mazda, the base Acura Type S is a great deal - $68K, with great handling...

CX-5 Turbo is the best AWD SUV for the money

I primarily drive our CX-9 and my wife drives the CX-5. I started with a 2014 CX-5 and forgot how great of a vehicle the CX-5 is. Just the right size with plenty of power and great handling. Whatever Mazda does going forward, they can't stray too far from what the CX-5 is. That car is as much...

    Is the CX-60 a dud?

    Is the CX-60 a dud?

The reviews from Australia for the 2024 model seem much more positive. Hopefully they have gotten things sorted.

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

7500 miles now. Before, I would need a quart at about 3500-4000 miles- longer drives would drop this closer to 3000 and I would change the oil at 4000 or at max 5000 miles (often, after adding a quart). Now, I can make it to 7500 without any noticeable change in oil level, even with long 10+...

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

Actually, both my 2021 CX-9 and CX-5 stopped burning measurable oil at about 50K miles. I did not get the fix done and am not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing.

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

The 6 speed us so 2005. They should have used a regular zf 8speed with a torque convertor right off the shelf. The mild hybrid turbo inline 6 is wonderful. Great performance and excellent fuel economy. Blows the Turbo 4 and v6 in the old CX-9 out of the water.

    Year 2 CX-90 changes?

Massaging seats. All luxury cars have them. The top of the line CX-90 needs to have them.

    New CX-90 Signature owner

Congratulations on your new car! Those 0-60 times and fuel economy numbers are impressive and I think they will get better as the engine breaks in. What I like about the CX-90 is ability to get great gas mileage with the performance that is enough to make you smile and handling that is 100%...

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

I will say, it might be the time between when the OEM tires were new and now, but boy, after-market tires are a huge improvement over stock. The road handling, the noise, and performance blow the stock stuff out of the water. The new tires are so smooth it is like a new car.

Current Mazda owner needs a luxury car as well

That is the one thing that has put me off the euro brands as well. Brother had a 4 series BMW. Beautiful car and fast as crap. But his dealer services were always in the $300-450 range. And once he went to a private shop, the issues started.

Current Mazda owner needs a luxury car as well

Both the X7 and the GLS 450 are great cars and above anything Mazda offers. If the additional cost of initial purchase and ownership (gas, maintenance) are not an issue, both are great choices. Drive one and see what you like best. BMW still had analog stuff, which I prefer.
