What I read on this forum is the 2.5T can deliver a lot of power- but it requires a lot of fuel to do it. Maybe a special tune or careful driving helps deliver better FE. Maybe the turbo is designed to deliver at the lower RPMs. Don't some cars have dual turbos to fix this?

That's just like mine. I can play CDs, mp3 encoded CDs, etc. You can connect things via the USB port, how does that connect from the console to the unit? What really helped mine was better speakers and some tweeters and they didn't have ANY sound deading in the doors, so Dynamat stuff helped that.

I wonder if they still use this method, considering that possibly the ECM could do the same thing with code. I think Mazda has liquid-filled mounts, sometimes they fail.

No, I parked it I didn't notice the fuel gauge, but when I returned it started up but there was noise from the back (fuel pump) and then it died. I poured in the bottle of Heet and jumped on the bumper to mix it and then it started and I drove it to the station. Kind of a hack but it worked that...

Well, the Heet got me the mile or so to the station I needed. I doubt it's good for the engine, but it saved me some trouble. That car didn't have a warning light:(
