would it not be easier to just order the key part and have someone cut (not sure it is the right word in english, I am french) the key with the model of your home key Because my wife lost her key, I had to order the remote and the key seperately, and the key is just plain, you need to have it...

Yes it would work, the diameter difference would be about 1.5% off, you speedometer would be off by about 1mph (when speedo shows 60mph you would be actually going 60.9mph) 235 would still fit rim (width wise)...but 245 with another profile ratio would be pushing it too much.

I have the roof rails (grey bars that make the length of the car) I will be posting pics once I put them on (I am getting my cx-5 today). I will be putting my Thule rack on top of those rails I just hope the Thule foots have sufficient contacts with the bars....2 bike racks and 2 kayaks.
