    Anybody have this issue?

Thanks for reading, I could use your insight. Id left the house and been in the car about 3-4 minutes. I was on a straight stretch of road traveling about 40 mph today when I tried to accelerate. Normal outdoor temperature, excellent driving conditions. When I smoothly hit the gas, the...

Hot cabins: radiant heat sink versus reflective capacity.

Thanks everyone for all the info. I used to have a heat rejecting ceramic tint on the windshield. It helped but the pixelation from reflections and light sources were distracting. If theres a heat rejecting tint that doesnt do that, Im in.

Hot cabins: radiant heat sink versus reflective capacity.

All I know is the interior of my 2018 Signature CX-9 gets hotter than any car Ive owned. (Ive owned nine or ten) Ive even got top of the line heat rejecting tint on every window except the moonroof and windshield.

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

Do you notice any pixelation from daytime glare or night time light sources? Brake lights, street lamps, sign reflections.... I had a heat rejecting, UV blocking tint put on and noticed pixelation immediately. I found it annoying enough to get it removed. However the heat rejection was...

New CX-9 Touring 2019 - Interior noises - Please Help

Yesterday, my 2018 started making noises when going over patches of rough road. My wife was in the car and she could tell which general area it was coming from. When we stopped in a parking lot, I slammed the glove box door and was able to duplicate the issue. Turns out it was a climate vent...

Guide 2nd Generation CX-9: Dashcam installation

Today I moved the dashcam power cable from the headliner to the windshield side of the passenger A-pillar. It moves down, then across the bottom of the A-pillar to the underside of the passenger door weather stripping. Should be good here, correct? Thanks

16-17 owners ... what warranty work have you needed?

While my vehicle doesnt qualify to be in this thread, (2018 CX-9) I just had the infotainment screen replaced at 20k. For a while now, when in the sun, the screen had what looked like moisture bubbles under it. Service guy said this is a known issue. $1500 warranty repair.

2016~2023 Display has a mind of its own

Sometimes I like the display off or just the clock on. When choosing "turn off display," the last nav cross street will freeze in place across the top and the clock remains. Also, when trying to load iPod songs in through the USB, it never completes the loading process. The horizontal...

    Signature wood trim delete

I can't understand a wood trim being a deal breaker especially if you love the car otherwise. To each his own. I agree with DG_1234, some things take getting used to. I bought new pillows a while back... didn't care for them at first. After several months, I've grown to like 'em.

    2016+ CX-9 Bumper Removal

It's been my experience that the sensors don't always "see" everything. For instance, I backed into a car in a parking lot. The edge of my rear bumper connected with the edge of the rear bumper on a friends car. He didn't find the damage to be worthy of a repair even though I practically begged...

    2016~2023 Wheel alignment

I just had an alignment done at the dealership with the 15k mile service. The numbers said one wheel in particular was out quite a bit. I didn't think the car needed it but upon leaving the dealership it drove better. TN potholes are a pain.

    CX-9 2.5T drives better with 91 Octane

I only use non-ethanol fuel. For a while, no 93 octane non-ethanol was available where I live. It's back now and the Mazda rides silky smooth getting 22mpg in 90% city driving.
