    Suspicious antenna...

sounds like you have the remote start option installed already.... just need to buy the transmitter fob. "the dipole antenna mounted on the windshield to the right of the rear view mirror" is not standard equipment; it is for the remote start only and installed as an option, there should be...

Brake Booster failure on 2012 CX-9 GT FWD @ 40k miles- covered by warranty extension!

Whoa, thanks for sharing, was there at any time a serious catastrophic condition like rear ending someone or passing the red light into the intersection ? Or just that the brake pedal was very stiff and hard to press down but you were still able to stop like normal ?

2007~2015 Changing CX-9 transfer case gear oil (photos)

    Is CX-9 2015 reliable?

    1) for AWD model, be prepared to change the transfer case oil every 15,000 miles even though Mazda says it's a lifetime oil. It's been well documented that the oil capacity is too little and the oil breaks down and starts to leak out of the vent on top of the transfer case. If the oil is not...

    CX-9 Clogged AC Evaporator Drain

Thanks Chris, your can of compressed air trick worked for me too! I heard the dreaded swishing water hitting the fan blades again every time I made a hard left turn, the first time the dealer fixed it for free, I didn't want to be bothered with taking time off work again to fix the...

try something that's not too abrasive first, Meguiars clay bar is what I would try first, should pick up the paint without causing more damage to surrounding clearcoat.

getting new transfer case as we speak!

This may be a blessing in disguise since you are covered by your CPO warranty and no out of pocket cost to you. The previous owner probably never ever changed the transfer case oil, and most likely the old transfer case oil turned into sludge causing above normal operating temperatures inside...

$21 electric sunction extractor/transfer pump for transfer case oil changes

I just ran the pump a minute by itself after disengaging the suction tube from the transfer case to flush out any residual oil in the pump line, then left it as is for next time, I didn't see any harm just leaving lubricant as is, since it won't rust or clog up the pump.

OK guys, I was getting the tires rotated for free and just checking out the dealer's showroom and saw a brand new black 2015 CX-9 with pinstriping, I'm not a big fan of pinstriping, I like the nice clean smooth look after a good wash and wax but anyways, I looked closer and literally...

2007~2015 CX-9 sunroof drain maintenance question

I tried to locate the two front drains in the sunroof just to make sure they weren't clogged and cause damage to the BCM (Body Control Module) located by the driver side pillar. There wasn't any signs of stagnant water in the sunroof tray so I assumed everything was working fine. The only...
