    CX-5 2021 - Mysterious Noise…Help

I had a similar noise on a previous VW GTi and it was related to the sun heating exterior panels. I've noticed in each of your vids it's a sunny day. Does it do it when it's cloudy or not sunny? Another possibility is cowl bolts that need to be tightened...that's a common thing I've seen on...

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

I wonder if perhaps the 70 is going after a more soft-roader crowd, similar to what they did with the 50?

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

Exactly. I know most people would want the bench but my family situation only has the two of us using this, so a 4-seater would be unique. I doubt that would happen....hence why I am even considering the cx-90. A 4-seater with lots of cargo room would kind of cool!

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

With the "premium" ambitions of Mazda, it would almost make some sense that they were expecting similar sales of the 90 versus the 70 like Acura was seeing with the MDX/RDX. I think they are making some good money off the 90, which is great news for them! I don't know what their margins are but...

    CX-30 Satnav Update?

It sounds like you're describing two different things. I don't think the Mazda Software is updated via Mazda Toolbox, that is the maps on the SD Card. Mazda Connect software is either done via over the air updates or through your dealer...there is a thread on here to do it yourself, too, but...

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

Very encouraging news. I have been anticipating the CX70 for quite a while and hoping they release a teaser or something to get me through to when they arrive on the lots next year. I love my '22 CX5 but I am ready for something different (I've had a few CX5s).

    CX-5 Radio DAB Reception

I find my 2022 has horrible FM reception. When I raised the issue with my Service dept, the Manager let me know it's a characteristic of the vehicle as they've had many customers note the poor reception.

Anyone's CX-5 just can't stay out of the body shop?

Indeed, I do know how much the headlight costs! $2100 in Canada! My last CX5 had a very rough go...a few months after buying it new, a new driver didn't yield and pulled in front of me at a set of lights, I smoked them. That was around $15k damage... Then I hit a deer the following spring...

Cracked Windshield + Smoke - Wiper Heater Element Cause?

I had a friend of mine report a similar thing with his CX5 and he thought someone vandalized his rig. Same spot. Same sort of damage. This is uncanny and I think there's more to this issue. If you haven't, I think this issue should be raised with Mazda and NHTSA.

That's great news! Thanks for sharing. Anyone know if there is more of a difference between the lower and higher trim's headlight design besides the adaptability? I see the lower trims are auto-levelling (at least in Canada they are) Interesting to compare lower and higher trims' headlight...

    CX-90 Reviews are out

Every new model will be improved over time. Look how much better the CX5 is now than it was a few years ago. I think our expectations were pretty high for the CX90 (the hype and marketing by the company itself certainly fed into that), but in reality, it’s an ambitious project for a small...
