    CX-70 delayed to next year

Disappointing news but I wonder if they are delaying so they can roll some of the cx60/90 improvements into it to make it a stronger product. Here’s hoping.

    New to the CX-50

That has to be one of the best shots of a CX50 I've seen. Perfect wheel turn for the picture! Very nice!

Ticking sound when adjusting AC temperature

I presume it's the HVAC system adjusting to the new temperature setting. There are little arms down there that move to adjust air mixing doors. The arms move in increments that match the temps.

    Considering a new CX-5

I’ve had two cx5s. One was a 2020 and my current one is a 2022. I’m quite happy with them. Both were Signature trims. The Signature trim used to be the only trim that had the black headliner which I find makes a huge difference in the feel of the rig (reminds me of my beloved VW GTi). The...

    Year 2 CX-90 changes?

    - The matrix LED headlights that are available on the European CX60 - The bench seat spec. issue figured out (not available on upper trims) seems to be deterring folks away from the vehicle. I like the captain chairs but get why others want the bench. - The transmission issues figured out -...

    CX-70 delayed to next year

That's what I am thinking they will do the 70 and 90. Same platform, just scaled. Funny you mention the 6...I was ready to buy one when the fabled new one was coming out with the I6 engine and RWD...but who knows if that will appear in our market. Having said that, I love my CX5 and the...

    CX-70 delayed to next year

I am still not convinced that Mazda would make such a strange decision by having the 70 and 90 be the same size. I understand how they would have the same platform but the same exterior size makes ZERO sense...unless they are giving it a huge amount of foot room for rear passengers, or...

CX-5 Liftgate adjustment? Not power liftgate height

Here's a quick side-by-side pic. Right side (passenger) has a larger gap than driver's.

Pics after ceramic coating on CX-50

I had a coating applied to my '20 CX5 (it was a cheaper ceramic option) but I am seriously considering going all in on the next vehicle I get and getting the full ceramic treatment. Looks nice!

CX-5 Liftgate adjustment? Not power liftgate height

I've noticed on my '22 that there is a much larger gap between the right side of the lift gate and the bumper and panel above the taillight on that side than the gap on the left side. I've been creeping other CX5s and it seems to be a common issue. Although on some other CX5s it's the left side...

CX-9 stuck at 3500-4000 RPM while going downhill with adaptive cruise control

I've modified my cruising speed on the highway to avoid the annoying buzz the engine makes when downshifting on declines. Most of my commute is on 2-lane, 2-way highway with posted speeds at 100 km/hr. I used to go 105 km/hr for better fuel economy but found the engine did this downshifting...

CX-9 stuck at 3500-4000 RPM while going downhill with adaptive cruise control

I’ve seen the transmission downshift on long declines to maintain speed (engine braking) instead of using the brakes. Grade logic I believe it’s called.
