    CX-5 Reliability

Consider yourself lucky. Also Acura has timing belts instead of chains. That's a major cost. I also replaced one of those at around 80k. Hopefully the new models now have chains.

    CX-5 Reliability

Heck, I had to replace the wheel bearings at appx. 80,000 miles on my Acura. I would not judge build quality on a few bearing replacements.

    2026 CX-5 Made In..?

Thanks. The 46% is what was reported but the way they got to the 46% was taking existing tariffs which vary for different products and throwing in the US to Japan yearly trade deficit along with some other variables to arrive at that figure. Sounds like a bunch of economic coneheads got together...

    2026 CX-5 Made In..?

Actually they do but it's not 46% that I reported earlier. That was info from the adminstration yesterday. That 46% is incorrect. Japans import tariff is closer to 4%. My mistake for not digging deeper.

    2026 CX-5 Made In..?

Considering your hypothetical - since labor accounts for 10 - 20% of a car build price plus advertising and adminstration they could probably save around 30% of the price affected by the tariff if they get into that detail. Don't know the specifics, if it's built here does it avoid the tariff...

TSR not working on 2025 CX-5 Turbo Signature (no nav card)

    That's what I thought too.

Sounds like a valve releasing air or an animal stuck in your engine compartment.

    Guide ATF Drain/Fill

I doubt there's a lifetime fluid. I think it's more a marketing gimmick. Prudent advice is to change it around 40-50k miles and a second time at the next oil change after that. Takes about 3 drain/fills to replace most of the old fluid.

    Guide ATF Drain/Fill

Mazda does not recommend changing the fluid. They claim it's lifetime. If you plan on keeping the vehicle past the powertrain warranty I would do a change around 40,000. Some Mazda dealers refuse to change the fluid.

    Rear hatch stops when opening

Glad you got it working. I put my dog in the back seats with a pet cover on the rear seats. She always tries to get to the front seats. On long trips she will lay on the back seats with her head and part of her body on the center console. Heavy towel on the console to avoid scratches.

Turbo and NA - Let's love them both

Having both I know where you're coming from. The NA is fun around town, nimble and fairly quick. The turbo is great on the highway or 2/4 lane highways. I enjoy both.

    Blind Spot Monitoring Weakness

It's been that way since at least 2016. You know it's going to happen so just ignore it. That's what I do.

    CX-5 Turbo vs Non-Turbo

I added grounds cables, 2 to the cylinder head and a third to the trans. They help throttle response and crip shifts. FE improves with this little modification. Simple question - if this does what you say it does why wouldn't Mazda engineers do it? Cables are cheap, if it increases fuel...

    Replace Faulty Valve Stem Seals?

Good luck with that. Let us know how it goes.

    Ventilated seat care question

They have to do a pre-delivery inspection. There's a few things they need to do once it hits their lot. You might be able to get them to not wash it but I doubt it.

    Rear hatch stops when opening

There's a procedure in the manual for adjusting the height of the door when it opens. You might want to try resetting that (if possible) and see if it has any effect. I remember when I first got our GTR and I opened the hatch in the garage - it went all the way up and touched the door. I found...

    Rear hatch stops when opening

Remove the negative battery terminal for about 10 mins. That worked for me and alot of others on this forum when the hatch wouldn't open at all. May work for you since it may be some iteration of the former problem we all had.

    CX-5 Turbo vs Non-Turbo

I like my non turbo just fine but I also like my turbo and in almost 6 years have had ZERO problems with it.

    CX-5 Turbo vs Non-Turbo

Not sure about the diesel but I agree with the assessment between the two since I own both.
