That’s not with the OEM remote though. If you cannot use the OEM remote to do it without the remote starter you cannot do it even with the remote starter. No difference. Unless you use a work around (see my previous comment).

It stays running if you open the door. All you have to do is get in and press the start/stop button and off you go. The only time it stops is if you hit the brake pedal before the ignition button (which you will do many times :) )

You can always turn the fan on and turn the AC off. That will use outside air to cool the cabin (assuming it’s cold outside).
