Maybe it's the battery. Try removing your cam wiring.

Socal is only 3 season so I can't speak to snow performance, but wet and dry are both great. No real difference to noise and mpg

Just changed my belt and tensioner also. Belt was easier but the tensioner required a lot of patience to maneuver it. Belt for the water pump was fine for me so I didn't change it

I got my CC2 from Costco also. No complains :)

Check with a voltage meter to confirm if the headlights are being powered. If they are, likely (but also unlikely both) bulbs are bad.
