I've driven many different BMW models and the X3 is not up to par in my opinion. The interior is cheaper looking and feeling than the other models and the I don't like the outside either. The X5 looks and feels like a BMW, I think the X3 is cheepened.

With a stick I would definetly buy it over an X3. Looks better made then those crappy little Bimmer SUVs.

If they make it light and keep it small the low HP could be ok. Look at the Elise after all. I like the profile and 3/4 but that face makes me want to give Mazda design a collective slap.

The front rotors are vented and I believe that you should be ok with either orientation of the rotor since the vents are non-directional. Some rotors have vents that are angled and these usually come marked with for whichever side they are appropriate. Do a search for some porsche or Ferrari...
