    2014~2021 Mazda 6 seats

Hmm I forgot about the rear foglight for EU spec vehicles.. well, at least you know the bumpers are possible. Even if the seat connectors are there, I'm unsure if the seats are "plug and play". I wonder if the functionality would need to be enabled or coded in.

    2014~2021 Mazda 6 seats

I think it would probably be easier and cheaper to buy a Mazda6 with electric leather seats, then buy or swap the front bumper.

    Mike's 2022 CX-9 Kuro Edition

I think so too! I'm so tempted to swap them back on right now lol Thanks Glaucus. Is your Kuro black, or polymetal gray? I've never been a fan of black wheels, these ones are no exception. They're fine for now, but if the opportunity arises, I'll change it up a bit. This car is a Quebec car...

    Constant Reboot...CMU issue?

Yes, that's right. Spraying the cleaner on the card's contacts and then inserting and removing the card should clean the contacts in the port a little better than just spraying the cleaner into the port.

    Poll 2.5T Coolant Leak/Engine Replacement

Nobody needs to set aside any amount of money if they don't want to. That's just a practical approach that I suggest. And that amount was based on getting the repair done by a Mazda dealership with brand new OEM parts, in Canada. In the US, parts are much cheaper.

From the Sith (VW) to the Jedi (Mazda). Insights Welcome

We have a great community here, but you're asking for some very specific feedback that really, only users from your surrounding locale would be able to provide, with regard to which dealer to visit for the best deals around Philadelphia. I would ask that you exercise a bit more patience as more...

    Constant Reboot...CMU issue?

Have you tried cleaning the contacts for the SD card yet? For some, that solved the issue. You can get an electrical contact cleaner from an auto parts store, spray the cleaner on the SD card's contacts, then insert it into the slot and remove it a few times. Spray a bit more cleaner and repeat...

    Poll 2.5T Coolant Leak/Engine Replacement

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's guaranteed to happen eventually, but it is true that all 2016-2020 models carry the potential for this issue. My 2018 went 7 years and 140k (87k mi) without this issue. If you're in the US and covered by CSP11, I would buy without hesitation, but I would also...

CX-9 2.5T Engine Coolant Leaking TSB

I think it's very hit or miss. I have seen a few posts from users in Ontario and Quebec have good luck with the repair. After diagnosing the issue at the dealer, they escalated to Mazda Canada, provided the info for the TSB and CSP11, and Mazda Canada covered the full repair. I don't think you...

    Mike's 2022 CX-9 Kuro Edition

For sure. The CX-90 is a good car, it's just a bit bigger than I want it to be and I knew I'd miss the style of the CX-9, especially when it comes to the rear. It was definitely out of the blue! I had no real concrete plans to trade it in, but after seeing it in person and taking it for a test...

    Mike's 2022 CX-9 Kuro Edition

Thanks guys! The colour combo certainly looks great. I can't wait to give it a proper paint correction and remove all the swirling and minor scratches.

    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

The 22 has almost 71k on it now. I changed the plugs on the 2018 a few weeks before I traded it in. Those A-premium plugs worked just fine with the CX-9 and the JB4. It was only a few weeks of driving, but its good to see another decent budget alternative to the Mazda OEM plugs.

    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

Yup I'll keep you posted. In the meantime you can also keep an eye on the Buy/Sell section of the forum, if you haven't already been watching it.

    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

    I believe that's only for the 2021+ Mazda3 and the CX-30, and the 2023+ CX-50. But for the Mazda6, CX-5 and CX-9, they still use the V1.

    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

Yep I still have it. I'll keep you posted if I decide to sell it, but for now I think I'm going to install it on the 2022.

Horrible gas mileage in brand new CX-5

I have, and I don't think its worth it for the mileage increase alone. With the 2.5T, it's worth it if you can take advantage of the other benefits it provides, like the increased performance at higher RPMs or if you have something like a JB4 piggyback tuner. With the N/A engine I would just...

    Mike's 2022 CX-9 Kuro Edition

Sure thing, I'll keep you updated. I haven't driven on all-seasons through winter for like 10 years, so I should be able to get a good idea of how much winter tires can improve things.

    Mike's 2018 CX-9 Signature

No, I left them on. When I stopped by the dealership, they offered me a trade-in based on how the car presented at the time. It felt wrong to remove things after we had already agreed to a deal. Thankfully I had already changed the CorkSport intake out to the OEM one for winter, so that's going...

    Mike's 2022 CX-9 Kuro Edition

Over the weekend, I traded in my slightly older CX-9 for this one, a black 2022 Kuro with red interior and almost 71k kms. On a whim, I decided to stop by a dealer to check out a black 2022 CX-9 Kuro Edition. I've been keeping an eye on used inventory lately just to see if a good deal comes...

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

What I did I do to my CX-9 yesterday? I traded it in lol New car is a black 2022 Kuro Edition with red interior, which I think is one step below the Signature. 70700 kms on the odometer. I'm a happy camper :) I had a fairly positive experience with my 2018, aside from one manufacturer defect...
