211K on my 02, 274K on the 03.5..... Both still run strong and the 02 only smokes a little at startup....

I've got a 02 with 211K and a 03.5 with 274K....They do fine if they are maintained.

Was the gasket replaced? Were ALL off the screws re-installed? They are soft and like to break off. Were the lines put on properly? Are the lines leaking or is the the pump sealing surface?

Getting the too lean code, so I checked for vacuum leaks, replaced the O2 sensor, swapped the MAF, replaced the fuel filter, and then I noticed that the TPS was reading 10% at idle. I swapped the tps with a good spare, same readings, TB looks OK, no binding, it's closed where it's supposed to...

267K+ on my 03.5. Milage isn't being added as much since it's the wifes car now. My other P5 is at 211K.

Hmm, nothing special on either of my P5's. 211K on one 267K on the other. Routine maintenance, synthetic oil changes every 10K. 237K on tokico illuminas on the one, about 167K on the OBX header... Haven't had to replace anything major on either car.

Sucks when that happens....I put together a BMW meet and cruise that nobody showed up for. (rant)

Found that the alignment issue is a bent strut on my 02. Sucks, it was a newish tokico blue.

Picked up good doors and carpet for the 02 P5. Called about fender and skirt....

See if you can dig up another MAF to try on it. I dealt with the same issues on 2 other cars and it all came down to a bad MAF. Both never threw MAF codes, one of the cars melted all the pistons...

Hell yeah. Both cars are original motors and trans, Both run really good too.

Now I'm 4x in this club. I purchased a 211K mile P5... and my old P5 is still rockin at 265K, that car is still so impressive. Puts my BMW to shame.
