Will Mazda ever include panorama sunroof?

The mirror control and temperature control are opposite of North American car makers too - but it all makes sense logically when you look at it. (turn mirror knob to the right moves the indicator to the left for the left mirror, pull back to go up a gear, push forward to go down). I would...

    Soft Cargo Liner Anyone?

The liner and cargo tray are separate - and probably a bit of overkill. I like having both though because the liner keeps dog hair off the carpet bits. The cargo tray keeps things from moving around (somewhat) and liquids or dripping wet dog on the rubber. You can probably do either or if you...

    Soft Cargo Liner Anyone?

Here you go - works really well to keep dog hair off that carpet on the back of the seats and simple to clean. I used to spend easily 10+ hours over the course of a year vacuuming the trunk of my previous vehicle, now it's maybe one hour over an entire year.

2015 Nav - some functions suddenly greyed out

The only way I have been able to enter an address while driving is by using voice recognition (which actually works pretty well - 90% of the time for addresses) or Favourites. I think it's been blocked out - at least since August 2014 for mine.

Experience with dirt for sand leather interior - I have a dog & I drink coffee!

I wipe the inside doors down once or twice a month just with a damp rag and that is sufficient for keeping it clean. The leather'ette' pieces of the door are cleaned with leather cleaner once or twice a year. I don't let the dog in the back seat though - sometimes the back seats are down and...

Experience with dirt for sand leather interior - I have a dog & I drink coffee!

I went with the light interior because I didn't like the black on black look and thought the light complimented the black really nicely - I also have a yellow/white dog who is always shedding fur! It's been 2 years now and this vehicle has been the easiest to keep clean that I have ever had...

2015 CX-5 noise when unlocking door at morning

I had this same problem the first winter where the driver side passenger door would do this. I did report it to the dealer and they could not repeat the problem - of course, it goes away when it warms up a bit. I haven't done anything else about it and now it's almost 2 years old with no...

    Rear brakes gone at 15k..

Good day, I have 24,000km on mine and the dealer said yesterday the rear brakes have 4.5mm of wear left on it (which put it at 30-50% on their chart) and I'd need new brakes. I found this difficult to take with such low mileage and went reading around on here to see what I could find out. I...

    Transmission failure

A free loaner would be expected, but not in Canada. I saw this on the Mazda Canada site just the other day and thought what the hell is that all about? If my vehicle is broken during the warranty period you don't get a loaner? https://www.mazda.ca/en/owners/faq/ Why doesn't the dealer...

    Weak 2016 CX-5 Vents

I leave the system in automatic mode and it heats up in a reasonable amount of time - I only have a 10km, all highway drive to work, and even on the coldest days (we had -20 for most of last February) it would warm up by the time I got to work on those coldest days... although on the coldest...

    Cabin Filters for Canadians

Which makes these a good deal $20 (CAD) for us Canucks, after shipping and conversion from US $. I couldn't find anything close to that - the ones from CT would cost more than OEM from Mazda. There were a couple other Canadian spots online but shipping was more than from the US! All the other...

    Cabin Filters for Canadians

I am not sure if you're sharing this with other people? I posted this to show Canadians where they can buy it themselves (and therefore install). It literally takes 30 seconds to remove the old filter and replace the new filter. It is awful dealers do this because it makes me question if...

    Cabin Filters for Canadians

Good day, Like some others on here I needed a new cabin filter and the dealership wanted $40 plus $30 to install!! I had quite the difficult time finding something that was reasonable in price and didn't cost a fortune for shipping. A few people provided info to help in my search but most...

Where do these LED swap outs go?

I ordered these a month or two ago - vanity (2), front and rear dome (4), trunk (1), licence plate (2) for 9 bulbs... also ships to Canada for canucks out there. They did send a couple bulbs that were the wrong size (couldn't fit in no matter what) but when I told them they immediately shipped...

    CX5- body panel material?

I have used the Soul Red touch-up pen on a white car and it does not look good - just kidding. :) I used the pen on my Soul Red and it sucks. I've had two small rock chips and have two more I haven't done because the repaired spots stand out more than the chips! I actually thought about just...

    Another center console/right leg question

Same here - I am 6'3" and keep the seat back and somewhat low and have lots of space - especially for left foot. I don't find the right getting tired or needing to be stretched out and I drive 3 hour trips a 4-6 times a month.

    Silicone Spray for door gaskets

Thanks - the old Blazer gasket clips were good - sagged in between the clips - bugged me a bit because you could see it from the outside with door closed but it was an old vehicle by that time and some things just go. I'd like to get the 303 for other parts of the CX-5 but it is hard to find in...

    Silicone Spray for door gaskets

Good day, Wondering if anyone uses silicone spray once a year for all the rubber gaskets around doors, trunk, etc? I had a vehicle for 12 years and did this once a year but after 10 years the front door gaskets started sagging at the bottom - not sure if it was the result of the age of the...
