Thanks for that. I'm about to install them and I was looking for some setting, at least to start with.

    Koni Yellow adjustment and settings

Nobody on this forum ever had these struts/shocks? Maybe on previous cars?

    Koni Yellow adjustment and settings

I have just got a set of these for the CX5 and I need help with the adjustment. These are my first adjustable struts/shocks, so I don't have experience with stuff like this. They seem quite soft out of the box. I'm guessing, they are set to max soft, haven't messed with them yet. Basically, I...

Yes, I was referring to the Corksport springs.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Ordered Koni Yellows(they are 20% off, at tirerack) and camber bolts. CS springs with Konis. Anybody has this setup?

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Purchased Koni Yellow struts. It seems like, I need to rebuild my whole suspension. I have just replaced all my brake pads/discs. I have noticed that my tie rod ends and lower ball joints rubber boots are all cracked open. I can't test my struts/shocks, but to me it feels like they are very bad...

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

The first gen CX5s have this bad habit, to lose their mounting nuts. To me it happened the second time. I tighten them as hard as a can, and they still come off. Most likely, they should have a lock washer, but they don't. After I'll take care of painting it, I will use blue Loctite.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

I know about Loctite blue or red, but soon I will be removing the spoiler again to repaint it. Most of the clear coat came off.

    Wheel Bearings / Tie Rods

All my tie rods and lower ball joints boots are cracked open at 63k. They still work, just most likely there is not much grease left in them. I'm not sure, if my lowered SUV has something to do about that. I don't believe it does, maybe the Cali heat messed up the rubber?! But then how come...

Removing ball joint from control arm

Eventually I will need to replace my ball joint and the tie rod end. The rubber boots are all cracked open. Anybody managed to replace the lower control arm ball joint? I would prefer doing that, since it is much cheaper. I have access to presses, at my workplace.

    So long, it’s been great

I had much better luck with a 2008 VW Rabbit, then with the CX5. I have owned it 6-1/2 years and I did not have a single issue with it. I can't say the same thing about the CX5.

Slotted discs causing clicking sound, when braking

I have tried in the parking lot, but at those speeds, I can't hear anything. Chris, do you have these discs, no? On yours is making that sound?

Slotted discs causing clicking sound, when braking

It is like a card flicking sound, as Chris says it. Good point to try braking backward., Thanks Mazdadude. I will try it.

Slotted discs causing clicking sound, when braking

Last week I have replaced, all my discs and pads. Also painted the calipers, with red paint. I have never had this type of discs before(drilled/slotted), so I didn't think about the orientation of these discs. When I brake, they make a clicking sound as the pads go over the slots. Now, I have...

Poll Did you choose the CX-5 over a German SUV?

Back than, I wanted a Tiguan, but the space in the back, wasn't much bigger than my 08' VW Rabbit, so I had to look somewhere else. I'm not stuck with Mazda. I'm not sure what I will be buying in the future, maybe some electric SUV(I can't believe that I'm saying that out loud).
