I checked in on an Alpha forum. Most owners are quite happy, despite needing an occasional firmware/software update. Nothing like the gloom and doom you hear about elsewhere. Of course most owners there have the 2.0L 4 banger.

Pretty much the same car. I just have the 3.7 VQ vs the 3.5 VQ in the FX35. On highway trips I can go 420 miles and still have a quarter tank left.

I love the fact my Infiniti has a 24+ gallon fuel tank.

I found using full auto in the summer froze me out. It was just too intense. In the winter it wasnt quite as bad. So I ended up manually controlling the blower speed, and often controlled the vent settings as well. But I leave the AC on year round. Never had a problem. I imagine the cars...

I hate the power hatch on my Infiniti. Its so freaking slow. But if you turn it off I hate the resistance I feel from the hatchs shocks/struts whatever they are even more.

My Infiniti has them behind the door pulls. Its a nice feature.

Our 2014 CRV has a teeny tiny blue light up in the overhead console. Probably something similar to that. But I think its only on when your lights are on.
