Why would LED headlights use more energy by turning them on and off? I mean I would think it's annoying as hell, but I doubt they waste more energy. They don't have a ballast like HID's.

Yeah I noticed too that the headlights turn off on me when stopped if it's still somewhat bright and takes a while for it to turn on when moving. I have my DRL's off so it's pretty noticeable.
