I took my car in last week for the very same issue. My brake pads are down to 3 mm (WHOOPS!!), as well as a broken Wheel Speed Sensor. The dealership said they wanted to change the pads and turn the rotors for $130 in the front and $130 in the rear. TURN ROTORS!? Waste of money, if you ask me...

Meguiar's Gold Class is amazing, especially on darker finishes. That's pretty much the only higher-end product that I have any experience with. Speaking of which... I really need to wax up the beast. Badly.

Thanks for the input. I agree about the wheel size. In fact, earlier this evening while talking to a friend of mine, I used that exact terminology ("rubber band") while I was explaining why I was leaning towards 17s. Not to mention price... not that anyone cares about price, anyway. :)

Looks great. I like it a lot. LOVE the headlights and taillights. Looks super classy with the white, especially. The orange side markers are the only things that are standing out to me, as well. Perhaps some modification there, clear or otherwise? Question, though. What size are your wheels...
