What size are the tires on your CX-5? GT came with 225/55/R19. Do you have leather seats? Are they 8-way adjustable? 8-way adjustable seats in leather were only on the GT in 2014. yrwei52 might be correct that you don't have a GT.

I have a 2014, so it may be different for the 2016's, but the GT leather seats in 2014 were 8-way adjustable and only 6-way in the Touring. I wonder if the wiring connectors would be the same?

No, she has a 2014 model she bought in 2019. It has the Type B instrument cluster which does not have any option for setting a maintenance reminder.

The rear hatch on my 2014 works as you describe. You'll get used to it. Never had any partial closure issues on the hatch, so can't confirm your experience there.
