Just replaced Pirelli PZero Nero all-seasons with Goodyear Eagle GT (W) all-seasons. The first thing I noticed was how much quieter the Goodyears are and a much smoother ride. The Pirelli's only lasted me about 25K miles.

But there would have been no guarantee that they were straight, and the $300 for the two included taking the tires off, remounting, and balancing. If they weren't local, I would have also had to pay shipping or drive to get them. New rims through Mazda: $575 each (plus mounting and balancing)...

Do your shift knobs spin on the shifter? I can keep tightening and tightening mine, and it never seems to get on completely. When I bought it in September, the dealer put a brand new knob on it. Drives me nuts, because it doesn't stay in place.

I'm talking about the snow that builds up in the rims and makes the car feel like it's out of balance when you drive it. I don't understand how it being awd "ish" helps that not happen.

BTW, I realize the MS6 takes more oil than the 6i.
