ok now im trying to figure out what gear to swap... on probetalk they say you can swap out the fs-de 5th gear from the 626 to lower their gears and they also say using the festiva .69 5th gear lowers it even more... hmmmmm so anywho does anyone know a good mph to rpm calculator that i could...

what year was your 626? i found a 626 info website that said the older 626s 93-97 or what not had lower 5th gears which would drop the rpms a ways... just wondering if it would be swappable(just 5th).....

just googled the hell out of it and it keeps showing the 626 final drive is 4.11....

im aure that is the problem but always been more of a windows down guy instead of a/c. so i figure ill just bypass it till i sell it down the line and just replace the belt then. thanks
