Need Help from a 626 Owner

I need help from a 1999ish 626 owner. I need to know the dimensions of the hazard switch on and 1999, 2000 style 626. Here is why. I have a 05 Mazda6 and I am doing some work for a Double din. I have been trying to find a button to fit the "blanks" by my dimmer. The hazard for the 1999...

    Alarm doesn't work!

There is no way of knowing where the alarm brain is. You have an aftermarket alarm. The installer would have put it WHEREVER he wanted. It's pretty much installers choice. More than likely your alarm isnt working if your domelight circuit is turned off. Most installers who are too lazy to...

    Pioneer AVIC-D3 installed with pics

I have those double din cage kits at work, and I hate them. They use that ugly trim-ring and it constantly falls off unless you bend the hell out of the tabs that hold it on. I perfer to ISO mount it from behind. that way you only see the front of the radio, and no need for the trim. (just a...

    What should i do?

Getting help here is hard. Personally, it depends on how much bass you're looking for. The alpine Type R's are nice because they perform well for soft or loud bass. I just recently tested out the new year E type 10" and I am very impressed, and they look sexy. I plan to change the Kenwood...

Input on my D-Din Plan. Anyone?

I recently bought an 05 Mz6. I plan on putting in a Pioneer D3, or possibly a Z2, or maybe the new year model as they come out depending on what I can get my hands on for the price I want. Now, the Metra Kit as we all know is only for a single din. I've seen Mods made where the climate...

    Remote Start Mazdaspeed 6

Not to mention all the 689M is is a relay. Just like the 451M for door locks. Just wire a relay to the clutch that is connected to the status output of the directed brain. Simple, easy, and cheap. I do this ALL THE TIME. Never had a problem.

    Remote Start Mazdaspeed 6

All Directed units have a built in Neutral Saftey. the Wire is Black/White on ALL directed products. It's in the same harnes as Tach on almost every module. (Do not confuse it with the black/white that is on the main harness. That one is domelight)

    Remote Start Mazdaspeed 6

You dont need to buy a part to bypass the clutch. The clutch doesnt actually NEED to be pressed to start the car. Only the Sensor does. (A lot of people dont know this) There is a small switch attached to your clutch that is pressed when fully enguaged. It is a simple push button...

    18" sub in Mazda 6

Maybe I'm just getting too old to be an installer... or maybe I'm just picky as hell. Yes, that's a big sub... and I'm sure it loud as hell.... so... I hope you at least cleaned up your install, cause the wiring looks like crap. Hope you still have a rear window. heh

    Sub any good?

I work for Best Buy in Michigan. I'm the Lead installer (that's actually my job title). I have worked with lots of JL stuff. The w7's are impressive. But anything GOOD from JL is gonna cost a ton. I can get an R type 12" for $100 Brand new. That's at 5% above cost at any BBY. The 10" R...

    Sub any good?

Not a fan of these "packages". We just started carrying the P2D412 at my Store. Two P2's 12" in the Rockford box. 4Ohm!? BOOOO 400W RMS? BOOOOOO P2's are OK, but those "all in one" rockford packages give you no option of how to set up your system, and they are always ported. My...
