    Broken JBR Sway Bar

I am using the AWR endlinks. 2 things to note if you are thinking of trying them... 1. They do make a little noise because of the spherical bearing joints. 2. They are about an inch longer then stock so they probably work better with lowered cars.

    Broken JBR Sway Bar

***Update*** Swaybar on it's way! Got an email from Jamie after they reviewed my pictures... "...I have reviewed the pictures and it's clear that we missed the outside weld that should have been performed before the end cap was welded on. This is our error and we're very sorry." To add extra...

    Broken JBR Sway Bar

Haha! Sounds like you used to live here and know the roads here are horribly neglected. I live on the east side and the only road into town has sections that was last repaved 30 years ago. Soon it will be better though. They are currently repaving the worst 4 mile section but its going very...

    Broken JBR Sway Bar

+1 for JBR. Jennifer Barone responded and will be sending out a new bar shortly. I understand no manufacturer is perfect and to me, it is how they handle their warranty and support that defines them. JBR nailed it in my book!(thumb)

    Broken JBR Sway Bar

So last night while I was replacing my bad Koni shock, I notice that my JBR sway bar looks a little funny. I grab the arm and to my surprise it fell off. Per the site description "Sway Bar is TIG welded inside and out then the ends are capped." From the looks of it, the outer weld did not get...

Koni Sport rear for the 2012+

Same here. Will have to see how this replacement thing goes. If another fails will look to switching to Bilstein.

Koni Sport rear for the 2012+

I know... I'm trying not to think about the fronts. I want to check it but its a PITA to pull. Anyone have a good method the check it while still installed? Bounce method is not reliable. The swaybar links the set so a good one may compensate for a bad one. Which was the case for the rears.

Koni Sport rear for the 2012+

***Update*** Kind of regretting going with Koni. Pull the rears last night to make an adjustment and found that one is blown. It doesn't seem to be leaking but it is very easy to compress and no matter how stiff is set the rebound to there is no rebound dampening. Faxed in the warranty...

will a 2012 Mazda 5 on H&R lowering springs need a rear camber kit?

No Camber kit. 0.12in total toe in. One other thing to note is that I do not normally carry heavy loads. The most is my Wife, daughter and groceries. Your needs may be different.

will a 2012 Mazda 5 on H&R lowering springs need a rear camber kit?

I'm on H&R with Koni Sports. When aligned my rear camber was an identical -2.4 on each side. Max Mazda spec was -2.4. Car was aligned twice once immediately after and again after allowed to settle for about a month. Car had 3/4 tank and ~120lbs of weights directly behind the drivers seat...

    Passenger side motor mount exploded!

Looking for suggestions... Replace with stock or JBR 70 Duro? Anyone installed a JBR? How much NVH did it add?

    Best tires money can buy?

I have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3. Great tire so far. Put on only about 5k miles. Seems to be holding up well. Bought to replace the RE760 that lasted only 20K miles. Performance is very close to the REs. It may be just a tad louder. Also, the Michelin have a huge rim guard. Dont...

    Alternative rear suspensions

I agree. I also have yellows and adjusting the rears is a PITA! Just be careful which speed3 shock you order. My 2012 needed the shock from the older speed. The newer speed has a narrower lower mount.

    Rear tires "cupping"

I know the OP says cupping but, is it cupping or feathering? Feathering occurs normally with the lack of cross forward rotations. Some tires are more prone to it than others. It can be accelerated with incorrect toe settings. Just because the car tracks straight doesn't mean the alignment is...

    JBR rear sway bar review

Nah, you really don't need such a stiff bar. But for the 2012, because the bracket mounts were moved further outward, the style of the bar makes it the most logical choice. As in my OP, the bends on the racing beat placed the brackets practically on the bends. Also, there really isn't a 5...

    JBR rear sway bar review

No problem. From what I understand, the MS3 endllinks aren't any stronger. Yes, they have a larger 12mm bolt but the rest of the hardware is the same. Plus, I already have AWR endlinks that are holding up perfectly well.
