    '03 P5 or '04 6 ?

Yeah, My aunt has a 6s and well... Its fast and fun. But one word, well two FEED BACK When you drive the P5 there is alot of feed back from the road, making it easier to corner and allowing you to 'feel' the corner, the 6 is lacking. Keep the p5 and wait until gas is $4+ a gallon, you'll be...

    Groaning from rear suspension

I have the same problem i think. Every time I come to a stop, or begin to go, I hear a low pitch noise, err or groaaaaa from the rear. I also hear it when I lift the rear end up a little. Did you have the same and what did you do. I too live in an area of road salt galore (good ol WI)

    to buy or not

Is it this one? http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/car/564817046.html If so, I would buy that in a heartbeat. Buying a car with a ton of mods is just asking for problems. Stock is the only way to buy a used car ,IMHO, Looks like a really clean car. Buy it, BUY IT!!

02 Protege5 Headlight Haze before and after...

soft scrub works because well, anything with grit will polish down the hazing. The only problem is if you rub too hard with soft scrub, you could damage the lens. With the plastx, there is very little to no grit, so it seems to be "safer" to use.

    engine misses when idling...

Had a similar problem with my old Escort GT (1.8 L Mazda motor) I would start the car up cold, it would run fine but then when it would warm up a bit, it just didn't want to run right or idol. The fix, new spark plugs and wires. I realized that even when the car was cold it misfired, just not as...

    02 Protege5 Polished Rims question...?

Well, if it was me, i would invest in some wheel polish/ mag wheel polish, whatever, and a buff ball and see if you can buff it out. Flitz, if its still around is a great product. http://www.flitz.com/index.html

    02 Protege5 Polished Rims question...?

From a chemist stand point, you could make a paste of water and baking soda should neutralize the corrosion and then hit the corrosion with a tooth brush.

    Time for a new battery?

I've noticed my dad's 07 Mazda 3 GT battery sucks in the winter, BRAND NEW. Mazda leaves a good 2-3 inches extra to put a bigger battery in, I just wished they would. Hense, I bought an optima. When I'm at college, I leave my car out in -5F weather for a week or so and it starts right up.

    Tightening E-Brake

Well you also have to remember you have rear disc brakes, they are run hydrologically instead of the Hyundai, which probably has drum brakes which can lock up through just pulling of the e-brake handle. So totally locking the rear brakes must be done with pedal movement as well, which defeats...
