2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

I read on Techron's site, that to use it about every oil change if you don't use top tier gas. I'll try it shortly and then in another six months.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

I usually fill up gas at BJs, but I don't think they are considered top tier gas.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

I went there this morning, and they said the oil was a little over the max but nothing to worry about. I told them about the spark plugs and to check to make sure all of them are installed properly and connections are good. They took them out in front of me and carefully put them in again...

Why should I be afraid? I am not really worried. It's my car that's not running right.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

No, I was not scammed. I bought my own plugs and took them to my independent mechanic and got them changed at 75k. The dealer tried to pull a fast one. All dealers are like this. They will say anything to make a fast buck.

Is there a throttle cable on these cars? Or is it the drive by wire type?

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

They were trying to scam me. I just declined everything they suggested including throttle body cleanup and Fuel system cleaning. I drove the car in the evening today and it seemed a little better, but I am still taking it in on Friday. Maybe they reset something and maybe there is some...

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

I actually found the email with the inspection results where you click on the link under spark plugs recommended and it shows the picture (attached). I doubt those plugs are mine. I had them changed out at 75k with the NGKs for Mazda.

The next time I will give the dealer a advanced heads up not to touch the plugs as they are new, so no need of messing with something.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

Yeah, perhaps they messed something up. During service they showed me a picture of the plugs, but I don't have it anymore. I am going to the dealer on Friday for them to have a look at it. I believe they even looked at the throttle body and said it was dirty, but the car was running perfectly...

My '16 Sport has the 2.5L Skyactiv. I need to re-check the oil level once the car has been sitting for a while.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

So, I read the cx-5 manual. It says to wait 5 minutes to allow the oil to settle before checking. I checked the oil a few seconds after I turned of the engine.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

Just checked the oil level and it and it seems to be over the top-level marking and not just in-between.

2016 CX-5 seems to be sluggish after recent oil change

Well, I thought I noticed the issue when I first got the oil change done about two weeks back. I just re-filled on Friday and still feel the same. This is what they had recommended during their inspection: -Throttle body service -EFI Service (Fuel Injection Cleaning service) -Spark Plugs, they...
