    Tire recommendation

I understand that and thought the same but read a couple of articles to keep OEM speed rating tires. I doubt there is some special in GT model but just wanted to stick with that.

    Tire recommendation

I almost locked to Pirelli P7 but it was only H rated, so now back to a choice between Yoko GTX, Michelin LTX, and Continetal CrossContact.

225/55R19 Tire Comparison Table for CX-5 GT - Many to Choose From

Thanks brillo54! I was also in confusion because to relatively lower rating for G055 and was thinking about LTX or GTX. Also Tirerack shows BFG Advantage at top, any reviews/feedback on that? With UTQG: 700 B A (freak)?

Unclog A/C drain and remove musty smell easily

That is exactly I missed and faced it. I put Kool-it from the lower end and the tube didn't go beyond the upper joint and almost all kool-it came back, wasted it! I was also wondering if I could remove it from top, will try it next but probably need a new kool-it can.

225/55R19 Tire Comparison Table for CX-5 GT - Many to Choose From

Thanks, I agree with it and have been trying to do the same. - No UTQG BA or BB for me. - Similar or better load and speed rating than OEMs - Wet, dry, ride quality and noise numbers from TR rating as you mentioned I'll also start looking at max inflation ratings now. Also had a question...

    CX-5 tire busted

Read the reason " the need to keep deeper treaded tires on the rear axle to resist oversteer conditions caused by wet road hydroplaning is important. Unfortunately this precludes the future possibility of ever rotating tires. Once a pair of tires has been installed, the only way to escape being...

    CX-5 tire busted

Nice, sad these don't come in 225/55/19. Question: can't two pairs of same wheels be rotated? I would expect: F(ront)L(eft),FR,RL,RR to rotate like: 1st time: FL -> RR FR -> RL RL -> FR RR -> FL 2nd time: FL -> RL FR -> RR RL -> FL RR -> FR unless tires are directional, am I missing...

    CX-5 tire busted

That was my concern as well. I is not evident to me but I wanted to go to Costco or America's Tires hoping the could inspect it thoroughly. It seems the recommendation is to replace all (at least 2) to new good ones. I had three in mind for the OEM size: TrueContact, LTX and P7 which seem to...

    CX-5 tire busted

Also another question, would the tpms sensor break? It was a bad cut (rapid to flat) and I had probably driven a mile on a complete flat.

    CX-5 tire busted

Yes, don't want to spend much at this point but doesn't mean I would go with lower quality either. Also if I get 2 new good tires, it will be a mismatch now and whenever it is time to change those. 1 used was an option because it lets me change 1 at this time and then all four can be changed...

    CX-5 tire busted

Had a bad tear in one of the tires and has to be replaced. Tire shop suggests replacing 2 as other tires are different and 17k miles old. Questions for experts: - Should I replace two if I get the same OEM brand/model? ~$140 per tire - If I replace two, can I upgrade these two to 245/50 instead...

    Small dents on car's bonnet

Yeah, saw that on multiple sites including http://www.mymazdapart.com/a/Mazda__CX-5/48738490__6231632/HOOD--COMPONENTS/5470090.html As described above, I was expecting hood replacement much more complex. I'll go ahead with a PDR then. Thanks everyone for providing your valuable suggestions.

    Small dents on car's bonnet

As I was shopping for the PDR service I am getting quotes from $300-400 for 3/4 dents on the hood. This doesn't make sense to claim that to insurance but I also found that the original part (hood) to cost around $300 online and was thinking what would be the cost to get it replaced. I would...

    Small dents on car's bonnet

Pictures of dimples: but not sure if those are visible or not. I also found this thing in the center cup holder below the rubber mat in it: Any idea what is it and if this looks fine in my car?
