I will be entering my Skyactiv 3 also in Autocross this year. I guess the best way to think of it is the Skyactiv is basically a diesel motor (direct injection), so it shouldn't be too bad. Although, investing in an oil catch (which I plan to do) couldn't hurt.

Thanks for the advice so far! The Turanzas suck from what I read so far. I was thinking of going with Continental DSW as those have been quite popular. Not sure on how they are with economy, but can't be worse then the Turanzas

^I have a question, did you install the CS SRI the same time as your wheels? Only reason I ask is if the lighter wheels may have helped the gas mileage? I'm still on my fill up when I installed the SRI and now I just hit a half tank and got 235 miles so far on the 6AT Skyactiv.

IIRC, the 2.5 has the side skirts, but not the Skyactiv. They do look nice, but I think they are 1K for a set.
