it wasn't bad....because they only charge me $70 for a synthetic oil change which would cost me around $50 to do myself....so I figure I spend $20 to have them do it and keep it on record so I don't have to worry about it.

Yeah...I specified them to use synthetic.....and on the parts list was mobil 1 synthetic...but the weight wasnt listed...just wondering if they used 5w instead of 10w

no my TIP is not black.....think they would really notice the TIP if the stock airbox is on?

Just wondering if I should switch this out before going in for an oil change or at least the stock airbox as it is less noticeable

Yeah the inlet was a perfect piece......nice and smooth all on the inside and looked just like a production piece that you would get from any big manufacturer.

Well I noticed a bit of a difference with just the SRI when I had that on.....but now that I put on the TIP....wow!!! what a difference...the throttle response is so much peppier now especially when shifting. Seemed to reduce that initial lag of response right after you shift. Even if the TIP...

I talked to Ken from PG....and he told me in all honesty that I could drive with both of those ends capped and be fine. That that line is just for emissions?(shrug)

Thanks Forzda for the help.....think I will be alright to drive until the part gets here standard ground shipping.....maybe 3-5 days? I do have a makeshift hose connected so there wont be any contaminates sucked in through the hole but the tubing may be cutting the hole off from the air coming...

Hmmm so does anyone have a part number by chance for this what would all have to be replaced?

So I was putting the PG TIP in tonight and everything was fine and dandy until I go to connect the hose from the boost solenoid to the nipple on the TIP and the hose was a little too short....so I go to try and stretch it across and I snapped the plastic nipple off the boost solenoid or whatever...

Ok just an update....finally got my TIP from PG maybe I will install tonight in the dark!

Does anyone else have this unit? I have one and was wondering if I could stream in music from the usb or mini usb input on the unit? Like could I play music from my phone and get a 1/8'' jack out to a mini usb for input and would it stream through?

Well I got the SRI on....wow it is LOUD!!! I can actually hear my turbo workin now!! The butt dyno also detects a little boost in performance.....now just have to wait for my TIP.

Well I have an update.....I received my sri today....except I opened up the box and I have the piping and couplers.....but no air filter....(hand) ....and still no TIP in stock yet...it was such torture to open up the box and see this...what a mean trick (squinty)
