    Chef's 1994 MX6 build thread

I could always add a resonator later on if it gets too loud. I removed the radio/speakers anyway and plan on pulling the interior out too so it will be better than the radio. You're absolutely right about the turbo quieting it down some. My buddy's msp has a 3" exhaust and it was loud but not...

    Chef's 1994 MX6 build thread

You and me both. I just want to drive it! So I am going to need an exhaust and I want to go with 3" pipes. I am toying with the idea of just doing a straight through system with blast pipes on the end like you'd see on a drift car. Not sticking out far or at a crazy angle but it would be loud...

Thanks man! They went on very nicely and they should flow a million times better than the old ones. They do contact the trans in a few places but I think I am going to leave them as is until I start noticing some wear on them. Here's a more recent picture. Crappy cell shot but you get the...

    Current Engine bay pics everyone

KL party!! Got new hot pipes put on yesterday with my brother's help. Definitely glad I had a spare set of hands. I ended up pulling the whole radiator and the intake manifold to get to the bolts easier.

Haven't updated this for a while. Got a big project knocked out today! So In the process of swapping over from a bad turbo to a good turbo I had to make a few changes due to different flanges. I ended up just buying a whole set of hot pipes from an ebay seller with a downpipe included that...

    the Stance Thread v2.0

I've been noticing that as well. The local tire shop I went to last charges 60 to mount non-stretched tires and 80 to stretch. All of the tire chains I have gone to charge at least 100 to mount tires you don't buy from them. Why have I been wasting my money on chain shops when local shops do it...

    the Stance Thread v2.0

My normal guy couldn't do it at his shop anymore but when I asked around I found a friend of a friend less than 10 minutes from my house who would do it. Dropped the wheels and tires off the next morning and he dropped them off at my house with my brother while I was at work since it was on a...

    the Stance Thread v2.0

Thanks! I promise I will get some actual pictures soon. With a camera instead of the cell phone. Maybe on Friday I can find some nice locations and snap a few. Specs are still BC coilovers w/ 135mm 10k springs up front and 180mm 7k rear springs. Dropped all the way down in front with collars...

^ You get that end link sorted out Chris? Also I have slammage to report. Didn't touch the height of the suspension at all from my last post in here. Messed around with camber some and everything worked out perfectly.

Yeah I used it when I did an old set of wheels in blue and I wanted it darker without repainting everything. Works nice.

Might have to do my headlight bezels in that color when I finally take them apart to work on them.

Yeah especially since that last test fit was with maxed camber plates. Haha I'll be having a buddy of mine stretch 215/40/18 Federal 595s on them. Hopefully that will do the trick. Federals run wide so I don't really want 225/40.

So I re-test-fitted my new front wheels today with the BC coilos and maxed camber plates. This was all the way down with all collars intact. I think I will have JUST enough room to stretch a 225/40/18 onto these 18x10 wheels. Hopefully that will give me the clearance I need.

    The Slammed Life

Got bored today and slammed the car. Actually it's not completely slammed. I still have all collars in front and the rear perches are in along with both collars. Could probably lay frame without them. Lol The white dirt on the fenders is from grinding the lips off the inside of the flares for a...
