Best place to buy brakes for the Protege?

You can get a whole set of rotors and pads on eBay for pretty cheap.

    Bank 1 & Bank 2 Oxygen Sensors

IIRC it's a 22mm or 7/8". If it's been on there a long time, best thing you can do is cut the wire, break off the stem, and use a deep 6 point impact socket. The slit sockets are really only good for installation, they like to spread and round off the sensor.

    Clutch

No need for stage one, I'd opt for the stock replacement unless you AutoX or plan on adding power https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001B59H52/?tag=m20b7-20

Then I would go with a standard flywheel and Exedy clutch kit.

    Clutch

If a motor mount is worn bad enough that it lets metal touch metal it will rattle and vibrate like crazy. They're worth looking at. If you slip the clutch when taking off, does the car lurch or roll smoothly? If the clutch doesn't slip smoothly, that's the problem

    Bank 1 & Bank 2 Oxygen Sensors

Yeah, theoretically. The heater is activated right away after you turn the key on.

    Bank 1 & Bank 2 Oxygen Sensors

B1S1 is on the exhaust manifold. I'm showing Denso 2344721 for that sensor.

    Fender Flares

They will be tough to fit on the rear since there is barely an inch of fender between the wheel well and the door.

Adding tweeters to a non tweeter car with a pretty stock system

Aftermarket or stock tweets? You'll need to put them on a crossover or capacitor. I don't know of the stock units have them built in or not, but aftermarkets probably won't. They'll sound like ass and won't last long if you try to run them full range.

    transmission Questions

Just dump the fluid that's left in the pan and install the new one.. No need to fool with trying to flush or drain the torque converter. You can't drive it without the pan, and don't try to. Just fill it with Walmart or Valvoline ATF. The fluid type is stamped on the dipstick. Fill through the...

    Transmission rebuild

As cheap and plentiful used transmissions are, rebuilding is not really economical.

Annoying "pinging" noise while accelerating... YES IVE SEARCHED!!!

Did you ever replace the knock sensor? What about the fuel trims? Can you view them with your scan tool? If the numbers are high and positive (+10 or more) you have a vacuum leak.

Sold my P5 today...a new chapter with a different manufacturer

Rented a Sonata last summer. Was a good car, except that I walked to the wrong car three or four times since all sedans look the same these days. Congrats on the new ride.

Flywheel bearing seized and ground down the end of the tranns shaft. How boned am I?

A proper fit slides on and off easily but there is no vertical play. A loose pilot bearing will stress the main shaft bearing in the transmission.

Flywheel bearing seized and ground down the end of the tranns shaft. How boned am I?

Yeah, if you can find a ball bearing with a slightly smaller ID, that would probably work as well.

Flywheel bearing seized and ground down the end of the tranns shaft. How boned am I?

File the burrs off and slip a new bearing on and see how it feels. If it is not a tight fit, best to replace the input shaft or transmission.

I know NB Miatas use the same coils and wires as a P5.
