Offset I'm sure you shouldn't have a problem. I've got 18 x 7.5's with a 42mm offset and 215/35's on my car and it just barely rubbed a tiny bit. I filed the lip a bit and touched it up with some paint and it's perfect. You're talking 45mm and 17's. No Problem!!

The harness is held to the inside of the bumper with one of those plastic christmas tree push in fasteners. Follow the wires in from underneath and you feel where this is. You can pull the plastic fastener out of the hole and have all the slack in the world. Changed mine in a few minutes.

Got new 18's on the way and want to lower the car about another inch. Who's springs for a decent price will guarantee to get me a good whole inch of drop. Also, anyone familiar if a 18 x 7.5 45mm offset with 215/35-18's will accomodate another inch of drop?? Thanks. First day on here...
