I just faxed a copy of the TSB to the dealer and they performed it under warranty with no problem.

    MAzda fighting me on bushings

Pre-existing condition. They should replace them forever as long as they keep failing.

(spin) (lol2) It would be easy for Mazda to produce more than 3000 Mazdaseeds. Just add water.

    Z919 Skipping?

Before I got rid of my MP3 two weeks ago, I was on my third head unit, and that one was still skipping.

    Mazdaspeed 3

Mazda has to say there won't be any Mazdaspeed 3. They want you to buy a new 3 now, thinking there won't be a Mazdaspeed version and then buy a new Mazdaspeed version a year from now. This is exactly what they did to us MP3 owners.

    Clunk Updates

This is potentially good news for the E bushing, but sad news for mechanics. As people who read this know, my E bushings failed and the dealer asked me what I wanted them to do. I told them to order the whole rear setup in case it was the original bar causing my bushings to fail so soon. I took...

That is correct Newf. The original bar is still on my car. I haven't seen the bar completely off with no bushings attached in a long time. When they replace it, I will definitely take a look. I want to have the Energy bushings put back on, at least those lasted a year before failing.

    Clunk Updates

Yes the bar does look fine, but until it is taken off completely, it is hard to tell. Don't get me wrong, I believe they will fail again anyhow, but let's know for sure. For comparison sake. I had the E's put on Sep 12, about 3200 miles ago.

    Clunk Updates

I concur with NEWF. The new bushings did fail, but on the old bar. Hopefully it won't take long to get a whole new setup so I can try again. It is nice that I am working with a dealer who is willing to listen to my suggestions (or should I say NEWF's suggestions) and go with them, no questions...

    Clunk Updates

IT IS OFFICIAL!! THE E's HAVE FAILED!! The dealer confirmed this morning, not that I needed them too. They asked me what I wanted done and I told them to order me a new bar with new bushings like NEWF has suggested. They told me no problem, it's under warranty, they would order whatever I wanted...

    Clunk Updates

I am taking the car in on monday the 24th to have the new bushings and bar looked at. I seriously hope it is the bar. If it is just the bushings again, I will be very upset, as will all of you.

    Clunk Updates

My bar has never been replaced. The endlinks were two years ago. I will strongly suggest to my dealer that I need new bushings AND a new bar.

    Clunk Updates

I ended up taking everything out of my trunk; sub, spare, and jack. I really wanted it to be something else, but it's the clunk again. I hate to say it, but this doesn't sound good. Next step is to get a new bar with the bushings, if I still have the car.

    Clunk Updates

I took that piece of cardboard out tonight. I always thought that it was attached somehow. It turns out it was just shoved between the sub and trunk floor. That held it in place, I guess? I will see tomorrow if that was causing my newest clunk.
