    2017~2025 Touchscreen lockout override in 2017+ CX-5

Mazda AIO tweaks can disable the touchscreen lockout. You will have to do connect directly via serial depending on your firmware.

Did you do anything to fix the vent rattle? Do you still have the CX-5? I'm surprised that you have had so many rattles. Maybe it was a early production model? Did you try escalating with the dealer/Mazda USA? I wonder if it's related to the suspension? I do hear a metal ping or two from the...

Mazda should hire the same ad agency that Subaru hired that came up with the safety + dog + awd ad campaign.

All the seat belts are ok and do not appear to make a sound. I checked underneath the seat again for the white clips. Mine looks different than then photo you posted. I couldn't get a good photo of it. Is it on both the right and left side of the seat? I don't want to start ripping out panels to...

Again, I did not hear any rattles when going to work this morning. We shall see going back today. I have a front dashcam but it's mounted temporarily with a suction cup. I don't want someone to be tempted to break in.

My front passenger seat belt latch does not move enough to wobble side to side. It can however hit the armrest or bolstering. I'll move it down all the way forward when I leave for work this morning. I have nothing in the sun glass holder nor anything in the center console. I'll empty the back...

Okay, I checked almost everything you guys have suggested today. On the way to work, there was no rattle at the usual spot on the freeway or at all. However, when going home, the rattle was there in the parking lot. I have some new clips that I can share. 1. Checked the front license plate - it...

    ACC Operation

That's a handy tip. How did you discover this? I don't think it's in the manual.

    2017-2019 CX-5 Rear Window Sunshade

I logged in last night and went to contact the seller and saw that the seller messaged me several times asking for make, model, and year. AliExpress did not email or show anything regarding new messages.

Yes, they have the closing wheel. Would they rattle even with the AC off? I'll add that to another thing to check.

I'll did check the passenger belt but not the rear belts. I did try pressing around the infotainment screen when it was rattling but I'll try the instrument cluster on Monday.

You might be on to something. I checked my front plate and it's not sitting in the front plate holder. I have a front plate cover on top of the plate. I checked the engine bay. Other than some plant matter, everything looked ok.

    Torque Steer

I think it's normally 98/2 split. Mazda preloads the rear to minimize torque transfer time.

Faulty autolock design on 2019 Mazda3

If you walk too fast, slow down when you away and turn around and admire your 3. :) You need to look at it for it to beep the second time 😉

    2017-2019 CX-5 Rear Window Sunshade

Yeah, I still haven't received anything. Not sure what's going on. Did you specify CX-5 or any special instructions?

    Engine Breaking, New Car

Easier to replace brakes than an engine. I think the manual states what gear you should be in at a certain speed. Also, the transmission is smart enough to not let you downshift past a certain point

It's the ticking noise. I'm surprised the road noise is so amplified in both videos. AC was off and recirculation was turned on to cut down the noise. I know rattling can also be deceiving because sound can bounce around in the car but it sounds like it's coming from the front passenger area...
