I do not know for sure, but looking at their posted photos, I'd guess a rounded roof isn't an issue. Most of their shots show it mounted on sports cars or sporty SUVs with very rounded roofs (Porsche, Audi, VW, etc). A call into the manuf. would probably tell you for sure.

There's a power connection back there for the hitch lighting (behind the passenger side trunk panel over the wheel well) but I've no idea how much draw that can support. It may be worth running your own power wire directly to the battery just to be sure you're ok.

Yes. Just use Siri. Siri voice recognition is much better than Mazda voice recognition.

If you have 70.00.021A, upgrade to 70.00.100. ACP seems to be more stable with that version.

I have the kit installed and have not experienced this issue. I've got the kit running in both a CX-5 & CX-9, the volume on both is steady. Which system firmware are you running? I had a few glitches with 70.00.021, but since installing 70.00.100 I've seen no issues.

I had problems with the OEM card also. What I did was back it up onto a Sandisk SD card (same size as OEM). Now the OEM card sits in a drawer, and I've used the Sandisk card ever since without issue.

Yep, we've had a number of Volvos as lease vehicles in our company over the years and most of them have had issues. So much so that we no longer lease from Volvo. They are beautiful, safe and comfortable but nowhere near trouble free. I wish you luck in finding what you're looking for.

That really sucks, if it were me, I'd ask them to take the module off of a car they have on the lot and replace the faulty one with that. There's no way I'd be happy with a loaner two days into the purchase.
