None of the CX-5 are built in Mexico. All CX-5s for the U.S. come from Japan.

My purpose in starting this thread is two-fold. The first reason is to provide a more-balanced look at the 2016. The second purpose is to call attention to new, helpful features, "Easter eggs," etc. for new or potential owners.

What is the effect of tinting the front side windows on this reflection issue?

I was told by a sales manager that you have to turn on your phone's personal hot spot feature to get live traffic on the nav.

Again, in my experience, it's far from being distracting.

I'm just really having a hard time understanding why folks are making such a big deal about this reflection thing. I didn't notice anything distracting in what's a really high-qual interior.

I test drove a '16 and had no problems with this reflection issue that some folks are reporting. By the way, I'm 6'3".

It's good that Mazda has so many 2016s in inventory. Now, it's long overdue for them to give potential US customers the options of building their own, downloading brochures, etc. IMO, they should have updated the website no later than March 1 and, yet, here we are over three weeks later! Come...

There have been some who consider the tablet style approach to look cheap. I speak of reviews of the Mercedes CLA/GLA. I prefer that the CX-5 has the screen integrated within the dash as before.

First world problems...

Historical data and HD traffic are two different sources of traffic data. The 2016 with NAV has both. So, no, it's not really a downgrade.

US 2016 Owners: I have a question about the USB ports. It's clear from pictures that there are some at the front of the center console. Is there at least one in the covered armrest?
