I was pretty surprised when I realized I could get a 10' step ladder inside, lift gate closed and actually a foot of length to spare.
Looks more impressive when the ladder is standing up. Then you really can't believe it fits.
Just thought I'd share. 👍
I'm coming up with over $25K market value based on that info. Insurance should go by actual value, not trade in. Trade in is around $22K.
Considering you loved the car and that the 2021 has many updates/upgrades over the 2018, I wouldn't think twice of getting another. IMO there's still nothing...
KBB market value is about $30K still although I don't know if yours is a GT or Sig or how much mileage. I put in Signature and a typical 30,000 miles for this '18. Can't see why insurance would only give you $20K. I wouldn't rule this totalled just yet being that it was worth close to $30K but...
That would qualify as "average". Most vehicles have issues. Right now, Toyota and Lexus who have been near or #1 for many years are having more issues than Mazda.
Everyone also knows that the 1st person to sign up to an online forum is the one with an issue. Is this an issue? Yes. But it's...
Considering that Mazda is now the #1 brand in reliability on Consumer Reports, these engine cases are surprising. There's no way that this is a common issue with these rankings. Especially since the 2.5T is now used across much of the lineup. And Mazda had the confidence in the engine to add it...
The CX-9 does check all of your boxes. If you don't need the maximum amount of space then the CX-9 is about the best choice out there. That said, the CX-9 has more than enough space for most needs.
Pros against competitors:
- Most reliable (rated by Consumer Reports), above the likes of the...
#1 in reliability...
Always a favorite by the auto press - for best handling, most fun, and highest quality interiors.
Many argue they are also among the best looking cars.
Yet, will sales ever make a dent in real market share? Nope. So sad.
I've seen glass spontaneously shattering on many brands. Including many panoramic roofs. This is the first I've seen the sunroof shatter on a 2nd gen CX-9.
Hopefully the dealer can get the claim honored. They/Mazda can easily argue that there's no way to prove spontaneous explosion - something...
Bumper to Bumper warranty except for bumpers. Tell them they need to change the name of the warranty. It's like going to Burger King and they tell you they don't sell burgers.
I'm curious to see where exactly the cracks are so it's something to keep an eye on. Any pics?
These examples always skew negative on forums because it's where people come when they do have a problem.
The last Consumer Reports I saw rated Mazda the most reliable brand.
I have both a 2018 CX-9 and 6 turbo. Neither has had a single problem and are driven hard.
Yeah, looks great for 157K miles. Actually less wear on the left side of the driver seat than I'd expect on soft Nappa leather. The center armrest looks brand new which I can't believe.
Too bad this owner wasn't a member here to talk about it and share what repairs have been needed etc. I can...
Found this 2016 with 157,000 miles!
The listing is filled with low quality pics like it was shot with a 10 year old phone. Great to see this type of mileage though. Only obvious wear is the paint coming off the wheels (an issue from very early models). 40,000 miles a year! My 2018 is just at...
Somehow this is only about the 2nd CX-9 I've seen with more than minor damage. It is indeed a very safe vehicle, glad you're OK.
Whether the insurance company totals it is a tough call because it's a 2018 $40K vehicle. If it was at least 4 years old I think it would be an easy total but this...
I'd predict the next Mazda 6 will launch by the end of your lease. If it doesn't, Mazda would be stretching this gen an unprecedented length of time.
It's all but guaranteed that the new model gets AWD as the the Mazda 3 got it. The question of course is the engine. I have a 6 w/ the 2.5T and...
