Does the size of a speaker wire matter when hooking up a subwoofer? Should I buy 18 gauge which seems to be the thickest wire available or should I use thinner wire? Would it make a difference in sound quality? I'm thinking that maybe a thicker wire would allow more current to pass through...

The system is new. I too like the sound of an enclosed system and thats what I have used in the past, never tried the bandpass but thank you for info!!!

I'm thinking about getting the Audiobahn ABP12T Bandpass to go with my Pioneer 760Watt amp. Does anyone know anything about this system or maybe have one? Let me know what you think about it or if you would suggest something else. I can get one for about $150 bucks!!! sounds like a good deal...
