    SCCA Racing at Thunderhill

Overachiever. (couch) I see four BS cars entered now, likely the only time outside of the Runoffs you get more cars than steps on the podium. (poke) See you Friday.

There is this awesome thing called youtube that allows you to post and share videos. (burnout)

Its Norcal, lots of Huffaker cars, those are a tiny bit more reliable than standard LBC fair.

Do the Canucks really count? lol You could double at TH and probably podium - because you know at least one British car will break.

Who knew there were three BS M2s on the west coast.(crazy)

You should have stuck around the double dipped in to H Prod, you would have been on the podium. (drive)

    2014 SCCA Runoffs at MRLS

Did you submit a VTS for one? I seem to recall this coming up before. If you don't ask for it you have a 100% chance of not getting it. http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123836845-2014-B-Spec-Racing&p=6303463&viewfull=1#post6303463

    2014 SCCA Runoffs at MRLS

Sure hope you guys can find a few more cars, would be a shame to not be racing for a championship. I did a 1:55 a few years back in the sister car to Bobby's, and that was carrying a passenger, so it should be close to the current BS weight. I don't think a 53 is out of the question for the...

    2014 B-Spec Racing

I am going to go out on a limb and say you are not the benchmark they are using. More likely they are looking at McTexas. What I find odd is they are no longer keeping the cars similar to WC spec, both weights and plates are different over there - in WC you would have a plate and this new...

Well I didn't see that coming: 2. #11958 (Club Racing Board) Balance Performance of Mazda 2 In B - Spec, Mazda 2 (11 - 12), change the weight as follows: 2350 2480 So is it STL or HP next year Derrick?

The power helps a little, the gearing in Prod helps a lot.

    2014 B-Spec Racing

You know... If you wanted to have some fun you could always pull your ballast, toss on a few Cork Sport goodies, and run HP for the weekend. You already have the BS title locked up on the west coast, and not enough BS cars to win any money, so you have nothing to lose. I bet you could podium.

    2014 B-Spec Racing

Its not currently classed, so it cant compete in BS. One would need to submit a VTS and request it: http://scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/Documents/Club%20Rules/SCCA-VTS-2005.pdf With 74hp on tap it will make the Fiat look like a rocket.

    Completely stripped out/gutted Mazda2 weight?

Yes, 15". When the radial slicks came out and we switched from the bias tires we struggled to keep the tires happy, we were cooking the fronts. That same year we had the Bestwick car (which was built around the 15" Hoosier radial), and any time I ran the two back to back I was quicker and more...

    Completely stripped out/gutted Mazda2 weight?

Try Jongbloed Racing Wheels. They made a 13x7 for us a few years back that cleared the Yaris brakes (10", the Mazda 2 spec in the GCR is 10.1", but the caliper design is the real factor). The SEB really needs to move these B segment cars to GP, they have zero chance in EP. :( 8lbs 5oz.
