What's wrong with a plastic intake manifold? The LS1 (F-body/Corvette) has used them all along and the are great. Much less heat soak than aluminum.

So, would that be the MSRP?? MSP's are stickered at $21,000, but you can get them just about anywhere for under $18,000.

I don't really want a hatch back/wagon. Otherwise, yeah I agree. Plus the Ralliart has a bit more zip in the engine. I will have to see what the Mazda 3's are going for in the spring too.

You guys forget that I'm not looking for a car with a ton of power. No way I'm going to spend $30K for a car (Evo) that is setup for racing when I don't need or want another car like that. For a daily driver I think the Ralliart would be perfect. As for the the looks, I don't think it is...

Well, I do like the looks of the MSP and still may consider one if they can get the clunk and hesitation problems fixed on them. I tried 2 MP3's and they both had the clunk. I almost felt sorry for the poor bastards trying to sell them. It makes the car sound like it has 150,000 miles on it.
